Lovethatwave I see where you are headed with that scenario and it would be great but I think I have a better shot at winning the lottery than for us to win the region and that scenario is the only way becuase with records tied you then go to overall record and then back to head to head. By the way I don't even play the lottery and I would still take my odds of winnnig the lottery over this happening.

I have seen three way ties before but not a four way. I am not sure but I don't think overall record would come into play until after the head to head.

 

I thought about that senerio at work today. Funny but couldn't the same senerio happen in region 8 5-A?

C. In the event of a tie for the region winner, runner-up, third place, or fourth-place team, if either team(s) has defeated the other(s) in regular-season play, the team(s) shall be rated above the other(s) in the standings.

 

This says nothing about comparing records against teams that are tied.

ok....what do you have to back that up with? Gallatin still has a chance to get in. Really...Antioch has a worse chance to make it then Gallatin. Gallatin has almost a guranteed win over Beech, so that gives them another region win, and they have a good chance of defeating Hunters Lane. Anything is possible.

Gallatin had a terrible loss vs. McGavock.

Hunters Lane had a terrible loss vs. Glencliff.

Antioch, however, seems to have suffered the most - emotionally. I think they're done, and will miss the playoffs, finishing 2-4 in the region.

Well according to some of my sources Antioch ain't done yet. Looks like Coker is practicing this week and will be a go come Friday night.

Well I guess that Antioch, Hunters Lane, and Hendersonville won't make it either then. You don't understand what you are saying, nununu. All of these teams pretty much control of their own destiny. To count Gallatin out would be like flipping a coin to see who makes the playoffs. We'll see after next week my friend.
