I thought Father Ryan lost several key players from last year but I have no doubt in my mind that they will be one of the powers in the state as always. I don't know about repeating as state champs but I would never put it out of their reach. They have great coaching and good athletes... time will tell.

They have one of the best feader systems in Tennessee to keep them stocked with quality wrestlers.

Father Ryan is always in the running to win a state championship, like every year. They have great coaching and wrestlers, but is it really accurate to say that Whit Dunning is "one of the best wrestlers in the nation?" I think that to earn a title like that he needs to get out in the summer and wrestle kids all over the nation. Winning a state championship does not quite earn you this title. But don't misunderstand; he is an outstanding wrestler.

Father Ryan didnt lose many wrestlers, just Chris Lomas and Adam Stark. We still have many sophmores and seniors, do we do lack in juniors. As for freshmen, there seems to be a copious amount of talent coming in.
