Who would want to play at a school where the field looks like where the Ag Dept. keeps the cows during the week. I mean UTM needs to upgrade their facilities if they want to get big time recruits. Here in a couple fo years Bethel will have better facilities than UTM

I just wish they would start winning because I actually like UTM. I have some friends over there and they are tired to losing all the time that is for sure. UTM and Austin Peay are two in-state schools outside of Vanderbilt that need a lot of help.

i know this is off the subject... but that was wrong to practice on that field all week when u have 3 other practice fields and could have went to the middle school... everyone that was at the game last friday could see  that there was no reason 4 it to be used... even milan

How many players from West Tennessee high schools are playing at other 1-AA schools, scholarship football programs, and making a difference, not just on the team. I know for a fact UT-Martin recruits hard around Chattanooga at least in softball and football, I can't see them not wanting to get the best from Milan, etc. Can somebody start a list on those players, the ones that haven't quit or whatever may have happened. BTW a lot of schools would like to have their facilities, not necessarily the stadium or field but the training parts.

By this time next year, Bethel will have a new stadium. The field will have the same turf as the Baltimore Ravens field. Great location with good access and great parking. Should help Bethel's recruiting process. By the way, the Cats have players from many of the surrounding towns. McKenzie, Greenfield, West Carroll, Milan, Huntingdon and Dresden to name a few. Cats are on the way up.

Im from Milan and little Bethel College got a good bunch of guys from my graduating class. UTM coaches were at school quite a bit, i think they even at lunch in the cafeteria one day, but they just couldnt sign them. I think the guys just didnt want to play for a losing program who put no emphasis on football. As a utm freshman the atmosphere for college football on campus is non-existent.
