gimme3
Here's a good example, Mr. Chuck Little of Cleveland will do some crazy stuff in warm ups but since he gets so f'n high in the air, he just drops it in. He does all kinds of things in warm-ups, its a must see. I think it's a stupid rule.
Quack Kills
i think it should be allowed
eagle79
You can't touch the rim at ALL. It doesn't have anything to do with flexing the rim or anything else. There hasn't always been flex rims. This has been a rule for a LONG time. This is just another example of the discipline issues that will cost Siegel down the road. Dodrill22
Discipline isnt a big issue anymore with us. we could play a little better as a team, but i think this past summer when they all played AAU together, they started playing better as one. they got the four free throws at the beginning and who came out on top? i believe thats a "we did"
mtnman
I saw some dunking during warm ups in Hall of Fame games. I think some refs and coaches feel like these are preseason, (or whatever you want to call them) it isn't a bid deal. This is also true during jamborees and play days. It is more for the fans than the players.
mikeyscode
plus it puts the coach at a disadvantage because he then has to stay on the bench for the game.

superfalconfan05
That is Correct the coach cannot stand up after his 1st Technical Foul. Plus if you all are wondering about rules how about reading them on TSSAA.ORG
neutralobserver
I believe in some states it is legal. They can touch the rim, just as long as they don't pull it down and make it rattle. I think TSSAA should make this a rule. It would get the crowds pump up before the games. 825445155[/snapback] Did the "no dunk" rule affect you at all Stephenzca? I heard you were a hi-flyer. MattL12
In Tennessee you can do anything but touch the rim. As long as you don't your fine and won't get a tech.
Quack Kills
i think as long as you dont pull down you are fine, at least they dunk here some in warm up

Period, dot. You touch it, the ref sees it, your team is T'd up. Bottomline.
