Boyd Buc vs DCA

well its finally here. most people predicted it. a rematch of last years title game. DCA returns i believe everyone but 2 off there 2nd place team from last year. Will DCA be able to pull through and beat the Bucs this year? i dont think so..this will be the toughest game for both teams this year but i believe boyd comes out on top 28-14

It will be a great game for sure. With east and west brackets you can never predict that the two best teams will be playing in the final, however this is definitely the case for 1A this year.

 

DCA are really playing dominating football at the moment and have just destroyed two good unbeaten teams two weeks in a row. Listening to the local commentators on Jackson Radio via the internet of the USJ-DCA game, they were somewhat taken aback by the total dominance of DCA. I think DCA get revenge this year.

Finally...we are down to the best two teams in the state. We should now be able to get beyond all of the garbage that all the others have been saying about these two teams and schools all season, and look forward to a great ballgame. I'm expecting this one to be a classic.

I think this will come down to defence and special teams. Whomever makes the least mistakes will win this. I think a slight edge goes to DCA as they did have a lot out last year due to injuries. I also think USJ was a pretty good team and DCA defeated them easilly. DCA 21 Boyd 17 or could be just the opposite. Take your pick.

...and how will Wooden do against Boyd's D? I think this will apply for both teams. DCA will be the best team Boyd will have faced this year, and Boyd will be the best team DCA will have played. Both teams will be tested on offense and defense.

Yes I agree, the best team in the state is playing in the championship game (DCA), but its not garbage that people get on here and pull for their teams to win. The team DCA is playing is just the best team from east TN. Good luck to both teams and I hope it is injury free.

Saying the best State Title game in TSSAA history is a bit much. But I definitely can see how this is the best 1A State Title game in quite a while.
