popa ... I've waited all week to see if this guy would post ... but my initial inclination was correct. He hasn't. I'm only going to be online till noon CST today. If he doesn't post by then, I may or may not reveal who I am talking about, I don't know, because more then likely ... I won't be back online until after the week ends festivities.

 

It's not rebelnation ... He's NOT the culprit in question.

 

I'm trying to give the guy a chance to be a stand up accountable type of fella. That's why I haven't called any names.

 

But this thing I know for sure. If Maryville wins ... he will probably be on here posting. If Maryville loses ... he probably won't come around for a while.

 

Win, lose, or draw ... I will be back to comment on the game I watch this week end. If Melrose wins ... I'm not going to brag or anything like that. If Melrose loses, I'll come on here and congratulate you guys. Either way ... it's part of being a sportsman and a man of dignity.

I just wish I could be there to see all the games. My son has a basketball game at 7:00 tomorrow night and I just can't make myself miss that.

Very very few have...I think there's been two guys say they have. These two teams match up better than anyone other two teams that participated in the 4A playoffs. This is a true #1/#2 matchup....no BCS bullsnit!!! ;)

Gotcha. Thanks. I remember someone saying early on that it might be TMB (TMD? something like that), but I don't know at all. Most of our trash talkers are pretty up front about it (i.e. Raider, Nation) and they are usually proud enough of their work to want it to be noticed.

 

Anyway, hope it's not truly one of the fold.

I am heading to Murfreesboro in a few minutes. I hope Alcoa,Maryville and Fulton bring it home to East Tennessee. Good luck to all the teams playing for a championship. Congratulations to all the teams that are playing this weekend. It is a great honor for all these teams to be playing for a championship. I hope all the teams have a safe trip and I hope their are no injuries.

Well, we're approaching 24 hours before game time and I honestly feel that the 2 best teams are matched up for the title.

 

All of you that are going be safe as you travel. I have the feeling that this one will live up to the hype and more. I will drop the $20 and watch the internet feed with several other Melrose graduates that are in the Dallas area.

 

Like K Dub stated, Win or lose I'll check in after the game and be gracious regardless of the outcome.

 

Does anyone know the record for a crowd to see a championship game? What size crowd is expected for this one?

You should run right down to the Cadillac Grill downtown and demand they carry the internet feed at the bar omw!! Threy have GREAT fajitas!!

On another note ... I think i'm going to break down and become a coacht member. I can see it now .... I'm going to inform my wife of my desire to join ... and she's going to throw me that raised eyebrow look in a the manner that 'The Rock' of the WWF uses! .... LOL! She already thinks I spend too much time CONSUMED with football! LOLOLOL! But ... I think i'm going to join. A christmas present to daddy ... yeah ... that sounds good doesn't it? Don't know if it will fly .... but that's my story ... and I'm sticking to it! LOL!

      Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?

      Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.

      I heard Alabama was at Antioch practice and Colorado has offered QB. Hoping the Bears have a great year.
