Indian
Best I've seen in person from the Chattanooga area was Cory Simpson, Red Bank '90-'91 school year, then MTSU. I saw Adarious Bowman from Notre Dame when he was a sophomore, he had a touchdown and 1 or 2 other catches, nothing like he would do later. rollredroll
I have my West TN biases, and heck, I was on the same field with him in 2001, but I'll say Franklin Pierce (USJ) has really come on at Illinois. Best ever? Heck no, but one that should be added to this thread. 825462524 I think you mean Franklin Payne.

dawgsfan71
Tennessee just now implemented the forward pass a few years ago...I dont think this topic is even worthy of discussion...if you can't run the football in the Tennessee high school football you might as well go home....as good and effective as a short passing game might be running the ball is where its at....this topic would not strike near as much as the running back one did...who cares about "pencil-neck" receivers anyway
HTV
If he wore orange, he's an adopted Tennessean. 825463578 Don't disagree, but I believe this thread is in reference to those who played their high school football in Tennessee.
