For all those people who think all that coaches are good for is winning basketball games, this show should show you that is not all they are good for.....I have also thought that Rick Insell is a great coach but I see in this that he is also a great man.

Jackson County didnt get that much press in the show, I figured they would at least say the name of the team that beat them first. I thought the show would be more about basketball, I was mistaken.

I watched the Dateline show and I was very impressed with what I saw. I watch it with my daughter and she said that all the stuff she has heard about Coach Insell being a hard coach was true however she was touch by the personal side of his coaching and how the girls played hard for him. As a father who has seen alot of different styles of coaching all I can say is that if this is a true picture of how Coach Insell takes care of the young ladies on his team then I have a different respect for the man in a possitive way. I think that as a coach you can be very demanding as long as the players truely know that you care about them personally as individuals not just as basketball players. Great show in my opinion on the state of ladies basketball in Tennessee as well as a inside look at what coaches go through off the court.
