AERoadrunners
"BIG TIME PLAYERS MAKE BIG TIME PLAYS" that's a page from AE's football coach, Stanton Stevens. Albert just took that to heart when it came to this game. He made the plays that counted. Not just ALbert but the whole team played well. It just Albert kicked it in 5th gear and the Falcons just couldn't catch him nor stop him. So I say, "How Bout DEM ROADRUNNERS!" Faith+1
Congratulations AE, but I hope your ready for Thursday at Anderson County. AC is playing better than anyone right now. They have a warm up game on Tuesday against Scott & then its game time Thursday.
Tom142
AC won't be much of a challenge for AE. They are too quick and aggressive for them.
AERoadrunners
Well, I think AE will beat AC. I seen AC play against West and the only thing they did was shoot from the outside. If AE can defend the outside shot, they'll be A. OK. The question is, who will stop the RoadRUNNERS??? They're to quick for AC.
formerFHSplaya04
anyone hear the news? I could be wrong but rumor is that E. Bishop quit the basketball team. I really dont blame him, Jody was not playing him hardly at all and the boy should have been starting. No one can jump with the kid or block his shot and he was a force on the boards, if he did quit that is really going to hurt the team down the road here coming up in playoffs. Jody always does someone wrong every year. Last kid to get done wrong was Dusty Hinshaw, I know ppl remember him, the white boy with handles, but Thomas Moore started over him, and he couldnt hold Dusty's jockstrap....now he ran Elliot off, when is he going to start getting some sense? The Mav
There's alot more to running a successful team and program than just putting your five best athletes on the floor. If that's all it took then maybe you could coach a team to the state tourney playa04. The last time I heard about what a mistake it was for Coach Wright to "run off" a player was, let's see...., oh yeah, last year! Who turned out to have "sence " there? I guess 19-0 wasn't good enough, one loss and it's time to run the coach out of town huh? You are spoilled for great coaches at Fulton, and now it sounds like some of you are spoilled from success. I think you should just enjoy this time in your schools history, it won't last forever, it never does.
chill
Moore and Hinshaw were a nice combo at guard, but Hinshaw was not any better. Both players were decent high school players. Elliot Bishop quitting surprises me. He can jump out of the gym, but he can't shoot from outside 4 feet. I find it hard to believe that he would quit......football is his sport anyway...... AERoadrunners
anyone hear the news? I could be wrong but rumor is that E. Bishop quit the basketball team. 825537740 Well I hope it’s just a rumor. E. Bishop is one of the best athletes in the state of Tennessee and I think he's just having bad success in basketball. He quit AE's team last year because he wasn't getting a long with Coach Mitchell now to hear that he's quitting Fulton's team because of Coach Wright is just unbelievable. I just won’t believe it until I see it for myself. football is his sport anyway...... 825537900 You must don't know E. Bishop! His sport is basketball. Knowing him and a lot of coaches that used to coach him they'll tell you that his sport is basketball. Like I said before he's just not doing well in basketball. Basketball is his sport. If he had a choice of a scholarship in basketball or football I betcha lottery ticket He'll choose Basketball. chill
I'm not saying basketball is not "his" sport, but it's definitely not the sport he's best at. He is a small d-1 prospect as a wide receiver, as a basketball player he might go d-3 or juco. This is only because of his athleticism because he has no jumpshot. He's got mad-ups, but no stroke outside 3 feet, and even then he still sometimes bricks it........I've been watching him since middle school, and while he has grown into a strong athletic player, his skills/fundamentals have not really improved. At 6/2, he has to improve his shot and his handles because most college teams don't need 6/2 leapers that can't shoot......There's 3 players just like him on every team in Memphis.....
