John Kirn and Kenny Meredith will meet tomorrow night in Franklin for the first time this season. I gotta know what everyone thinks about this one. My prediction is Meredith jumps out to an early lead, but the Colonel hangs on to pull one out at the end of three periods.

I have seen both wrestlers a few times this year and Kenny is just overwhelming people on his feet. If this match stays neutral, Meredith will win by a major. Otherwise, he will only win by decision.

No one can keep Kenny down in the Tennessee. Matre Dai tried for a couple of seconds. Kirns could not do anything with this fine talent from Evansville, In. John Kirn is fabulous, just not enough for Kenny.

Agreed! A kid with that kind of physical blessing is a rarity. They are both quality wrestlers though. If Kirn gets a throw in watchout. If not meredith wins by 4-7 points.

I just found out that most of Franklin's JV will be wrestling against Blackman and it doesn't look like these two will get to wrestle. Too bad though, maybe the state finals.

I would expect Kirn to wrestle this one. He has nothing to lose. If he wins he'll get first seed at Regions. If he loses he will stay second seed. I think he'll be wrestling even if most of the JV wrestles the rest of the match.

That's too bad. It could have been a huge confidence builder for Kirn. Although, I don't think he would have one. IMO, it's a tell-tale sign when a situation like this occurs. I've seen it before elsewhere. It's just too bad.
