Redbirdfan...you better hope Hay#$%^wood beats Gibson Co so that ya'll can sneak in like someone (Crockett Co) did last year...

 

Well, for starters, aint no ya'll here.. I don't play for Obion Central, I do follow their program and know some of the kids and their parents <_< Had they knocked blocked out in the 4th qtr. the other night it would have been Westview raising the District 13AA title in the air :lol: Just curious though, how does someone "Sneak in" a state tournament .. Doesn't all the teams involved have the same opportunities/games in the region to play?? :lol: Survive and advance is the name of this game, especially this time of the year.. All I know is TWO (2) teams from 13AA will represent this part of the state in the BORO this year.. I didn't like like GC got bounced in the first round last year and didn't like it when Westview made it to the state finals but lost to Jackson Co. a couple of years ago. We all won't what's best for our WEST TN teams in the tournaments and want the BEST teams playing in the State Tourney that deserve to be there. OC made their case last week with two BIG wins over two outstanding teams, Now it's time to put that in the past and TIP it off again come Thursday night at the Pioneer Palace!!!

Hey, Obion Co!  Gibson Co and Westview in the final, you won't beat Russell twice, and I guarantee you won't beat Westview again!

 

And until there are not teams left from District 7AA, that district is the favorite to win it all!

Come on WesCharge....so the two wins by OC last week were nothing? Can GC or Westview beat OC, yes they can, but can OC beat Gc and Westview again, yes they can. Unlike you seem to be, I know that these are three GOOD teams, that can get the other two. But hey, when the smoke clears, and OC and the 'View are in the finals, I'll take some action on your guarantee, I think you will find several people that will. I for one am hoping for all four 13AA teams to advance, and then we can go from there. But just remember...OC can be beat in the regional, BUT SO CAN WESTVIEW.

Do you really think that Obion Co can win the state tournament?  The best team does not always win the district and region. :D

 

I guarantee that Russell is still doing cartwheels that ya'll pulled the upset of Westview the other nite.

 

The region semis is a "win or go home" game with Gibson Co.  IF Obion Co can win that game, I will give my props to Obion....until then, they are still Obion Co (without Spencer of course, but he might be lurking in the darkness)

Being naive will get you beat! How many big games has anyone associated with Obion Co been in and won? A "Big Game" is a game where your season is on the line, as in "win or go home". Like I said earlier, when those games are won(like the next 2) then I will give my props to Obion Co, but they have proven nothing to me as of yet.

 

"Survive and advance" is correct, and those wins had nothing to do with that. This week (Thursday and Monday) will tell me what they are made of.....Thursday will be a walk in the park, then I will pick Gibson Co to knock them out in a game that matters, I really don't care who wins, that is just my pick!

How many times do the Rebel ladies have to beat WV and GC to get their respect??..Or prove anything to certain people??..The proof is in the wins and losses....OC is 2-1 vs Gibson County...2-0 on the hallowed floor of the Lady Pioneers...Russell wasn't doing cartwheels when his ladies lost in the semi finals...And he wasn't doing cartwheels being relagated to consolation game status in his own gym for the tournament.....OC is 2-1 vs Westview....Beat them in Martin and beat them when it counted for the district championship on a neutral court..Your thinking is getting a little skewed.....Also you know you guys(MW) now have a built in excuse for losing with your point guard out and all,but I wasn't hearing anything when you put 104 on Crockett the other night without her.....Give the Lady Rebels their due and take the losses like men...LOL....

Youll finish the year in the regional semis,2-2 vs gibson co and 2-1 vs. westview, and start softball practice on next tuesday. So obion laby reb softball players, you have one week til prctce starts. Gibson and Westview however will move on to the sub state and state tourny. Good luck vs. Fayette Ware rebs :D

      And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…

      Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.

      Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
