Clay Co. has nothing to be nervous about, they are a junior laden team with only a few seniors and are suppose to be a huge underdog to the #1 team in the state on paper so they have nothing to lose and everything to gain for next year! thumb

If anyone from any team( thats going to sub-state) gets on here and says theyre not nervous at all then there is something realll wrong with them, possibly a liar. Anyone that has to play in a sub-state game, knowing that there is a possibility of going to the Boro for the State Tournament, and also knowing that there is a possibility they will be going home, and possibly playing theyre last game of the season is nervous. So, why would anyone get on and say they are not nervous, I'd say there are alot of people out there that are nervous that don't even play. Clay will probably bring more of a fight to Temple than is expected, Good Luck to District 7a. Clay by 2.

Well, you better hope they don't play sub-state games like they have been playing them lately. I know Temple had to come from behind to beat them both times, but they still beat them. I dunno, the might have revenge on their minds.

TEMPLE had better be worried. CLAY CO. is a very well caoched team and has a bench full of talent. They always seem to be in control and play hard from the opening tip until the final buzzer. They beat PICKET CO. in district play and only lost to the same team by 1 in the region. They are talented and very well coached. I've heard all this hype about Temple all year and so far they have not proved a great deal outside the Chattanooga area. They beat Picket Co. @ home by less than 10. Looks to me like its time to test the strength of schedule on monday. Talks cheap, Let's play.

I dont know where you got that nervous from.  Believe or not ...Guess what? Temples the #1 team in the state you should be nervous bc your seasons about to be ended.

I am not from Chattanooga or Celina (but close). I have never seen either school play, but I will tell you one thing bigbody. That #1 ranking don't mean s##t. All of the voters can't win the game for Temple. They have to go and win a ballgame. The sooner you realize that the better off you will be. The same thing goes for the other fella from Chattanooga that thinks so highly of Temple's ranking. And I hope for your team's sake that you two aren't players on here running your mouth. This board is for the fans. Better do your talking on the court.

Temple not nervous? These 2 teams have been down to the wire the past 2 years and Temple has been extremely lucky to pull them both out, with one being won by one and another 2,if im correct.Ill give Temple credit because it is due,but they not unbeatable and they have been better. If clay brings their A game, they can and will walk on to the buro. Both teams are very well coached, but Clay inparticular. After losing 4 starting seniors and returning only one starter Rob has this team back to the same point it was last year and they are as good as if not better. You can trash talk about your #1 ranking all you want..but that dont mean JACK when you get into tournaments. You go ahead and think on all that and we will be seein you tomm nite.Go Dawgs!

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
