Got a high school football rule question?

question? only because I have literally seen this during this season. Missed FG say from the 10 yd. line. referee moved ball to the 20 yd line to start the opposing teams next drive.  Missed FG from the 10 yd. line ball left at the 10 yd. line to start the opposing teams next drive. what is correct? I literally saw this in back to back games this year.

The proper call is 1st and 10 0n the 20.  Always a touchback in high school football if ball breaks plane of goal line

Question of enforcement for you, defense is called for cutting the fullback is the enforcement from the spot of the call or end of the run?

depends on the type of play.  A running play, the enforcement spot is the end on the run.  A loose ball play (before or during a pass or a kick), the enforcement spot is the previous spot.

So if it was a run that gained 15 you would add to the end of the run?

Please comment on crack back blocks in high school. Is there a legal crack back in T$$AA football? I apologize if this has already been covered and I missed it.

When an offensive player lines up wide or in the slot, starts moving back to the middle of the field and blindsides a defensive player. In the NFL if this block is made below the waist it is illegal. It can be made above the waist legally as long as the blocker doesn't lead with his helmet. How does high school officiate this.

This is not to be confused with a chop block.

As long as the potential blocker leads with his hands in front of him and the contact with the blockee is above the waist and either on the front or the side of the blocker, than it is a legal block. Anything else could be an illegal blindside block.
