Several of those games could very well be a slug out, but the Pirates should win most of them perhaps even all of them.

SP has had two players in 20 years come from NJ. M. McCarver in 94 and now Kitt Grider. Only twins we have had is Allen twins and there whole family lives here. Go troll another thread

Senior lineman M Blevins,Long and Nelson with possibly Crouch and Ellidge if they come back out. Jr lineman Moss & Conner will be back and Soph Fehr will challenge. I think line play will be more than adaquete just not quite as dynamic running the ball but still better than most. Kitt will be one of the biggest strengths along with Corbin. I agree with Uncle Dave we just need to develop the passing game more and not allow teams to sell out to stop run. We won't have a back against the better teams that turns a busted play into a 70 yard TD most likely. Kids need to "get their mind right" and pay attention and learn. We had too many plays this year with Grider having to help line up the backfield. We will have to be more disciplined and methodical to beat the better teams next year. Hopefully with a lot of unproven young ball carriers they stay hungry and prove they are ready. SP will still have a lot of speed especially in that Soph class that will help the transition. Should be fun to watch considering most don't expect much.

The Mitchell brothers that were seniors on this team. Their parents both went to South Pittsburg. Their dad was an all state RB at SP. They both live in South Pittsburg. Anyway SP 2014 is the topic. Lets talk about the team in 2014 or not talk at all on this one.

Mitchell brothers have ways lived here and played from 6-7 all the way up. Dad went here and is in HOF. Mom did as well. Lol good try though
