My guess is someone that has been on the staff awhile will take over for the rest of the season....maybe longer. These kids need some stability after the circus this guy put them through.

What is the word on this guy? Why is there so much dislike for him? I have heard people do not like him, but haven't heard why.

 Anyone besides me see this as a potential faculty issue?   Did Derek Rang make some mistakes absolutely!  He's a young guy and he messed up.  Purposely?  I don't know, but I doubt it.  He was the perfect fit there.    He had the George Quarles pedigree.   Someone should of stepped up for him.   I'd hate to know I worked at a place were I make one mistake and I'm gone!

 

I think the real issue at that school may be on the administration side.  Maybe not in this instance as I don't know the circumstances, but man, that many new coaches in that amount of time??  Very odd.   As you guys said.  This really sux for the kids!

I know absolutely nothing of the situation or any of the coaches, but five in the same amount of years makes it appear to be a bigger issue than any single head coach.

Yeah and what qualified coach is going to want to go into that situation? Not many. Powell football has got a long row to hoe if they ever get back to being prominent again. 3 years removed from a state title appearance and 5 head coaches later. Incredible.

I was told by many people Coach Allen was a real jerk and pretty much ran the people off that been supporters of Powell. I know he ran there radio guy off because he treated him like crap
