Back - Zack McClendon (Forrest) 1385 yds rushing, 18 TD's , 8.2 yds per attempt.

DITTO on this kid. 325 plus in one game. He is the #1 back on a team that runs the Wing T. Everyone knows he is getting it. Try to stop it.

No one has, including a strong Alabama school, a 3A school and a 4A school.

The TCA kid might have a more impressive stat sheet, but that team is loaded.

Without McClendon, Forrest beats 3-4 teams this year. It's the nature of the offense, making his accomplishments all that more remarkable.

He drags kids. He drags piles of kids. Heart that doesn't quit. He has also matured from last year (fewer on field theatrics, etc).

This young man could be the middle TN kid that gets the nod as a finalist over the kid from Greenback. Regardless, go back and look at my list on the other page. I can promise you the ones I listed are already in the top 4-5 vote getters.

Good thing is zeman could drop down and win the lineman of the year award instead of the back. He is an area leader in tackles for loss and teams are running away from him now.

He is a beast on defense. I truly believe if Ross hadn't made the decision to limit his offensive load that he would have won it hands down. He already runs over everybody and with that extra step he has picked up he is pretty hard to stop.
