SweetScience
Call me stupid but I don't think the OR problems are as bad as you all want me to believe.I'm sure we have our share of problems but no more than other top schools. Some people are being too critical because we lost two games and have our hands full tomorrow night. We can still catch fire like Sevier County did last year. That is my mind set. I'm a the glass is half full kind of person. Remember, chicken little said the sky was falling and guess what? The sky didn't fall. This post wasn't aimed at anyone. WTW it isn't just this year. I don't think things are terrible, I mean we are sitting at 7-2, but this is OR man. We don't settle for 10 win seasons here, or maybe we do now? I don't see that today, except with the exception of 2 or 3 players. That's just my opinion though. I may be wrong.
SweetScience
Oak Ridge teams used to be LOADED with talent back in the 80' and 90's. We definitely don't have the talent we used to have, but we have enough talent to still be competing for state titles, especially in 5A. The East is weak right now, and we aren't taking advantage of that when we should be. We have more talent than any team around here in the East at least. IMO. With that said, the year isn't over yet. Maybe we will catch fire, but I haven't seen anything too promising thus far to believe we will. Just too many holes I've seen. Not many teams around here, even Maryville or Alcoa could say they had/have the talent we used to have. And just to think we got 1 state title out of it. 92Dragon
I don't think Tee likes playing in cold weather either. What is your opinion on that? I hope OR catches fire! I need someone to cheer for in the playoffs. Good luck to you guys!!

We certainly should have won more than 1 state championship in the late 80's and 90's. We have a lot of talent right now and in the next few years, just hope that we get a team like the '91 team that wins it despite these problems. Who does like playing in it, though? ha haI've talked with a couple of former Wildcats that I work with and they have mentioned he seems to get injured when it starts getting cold like last year and then a week later he was playing basketball. Haha

Unless our line play changes drastically on both sides, and we figure something out in the secondary I'm afraid our boys will be putting the pads up early this year. If we happen to catch fire I was reading an Indy thread earlier and I didn't feel too good when I read their whole WR corps has college offers already. With how our secondary has looked that doesn't bode well if we do make it that far, and I expect them to be there in the end (Indy)

Haha Tee limps off the field every game in hot weather and cold weather. I think it's a tradition just to keep us fans on the edge of our seat and interested. I'm being dead serious, too. He does it just about every game. He's a tough kid, though.

IanMackaye
how is the track team gng to be? Graham will be a state-level sprinter. Alot of their good athletes were young last year, so I expect it will be a good team.
