fooseball95
Just curious on how you guys feel about the new rule. From the matches I’ve seen it seems that a lot of matches are being stopped when good wrestling is still going on.
Hamblin
There were a number of puzzled looks on the faces of us coaches when it was delivered at the rules meeting. We will see how it plays out.

From my understanding, as long as 2 supporting points were in bounds, they were still good. What is it you are seeing?

cbg
It will take the officials some time to adjust to the new rule. By January 1 they should have a better feel for the rule and know how to make the call.

Seems the ref needs to get adjusted to it.
Hamblin
Be easy on the refs. They were just as baffled as we were.

I was told that toes do not count as supporting points.
Hamblin
That is what we were told as well. So in a pinning situation while the opponent is inside the circle you can come up on your toes but if his shoulders are out if bounds you have to stay on your knees.......
