  1. We had an app but the cost to have it updated to new technology was way too much, somewhere in the $10,000 range if I remember correctly. The site is mobile-friendly, though, so you should get to everything you need by just going to coacht.com.

  2. Have to give a shout to a TN wrestler that has been on an absolute tear the last two weeks. Hunter is 26-0 coming from Spartan, Southeast regionals, and now just beat the number 10 in the Flo rankings (Jack Gioffre out of CA) at NHSCA duals. Hunter is currently ranked 13th on Flo but should now go up. If Team Shutt wins the semis and Team Kong wins the other side (over the minions) he will get the number 6 on Flo, Jordan Titus in the finals.

  3. Smoked some ribs today and thought about my Dad (got his flag that's folded in a triangle) and my friend LOD who was also a Vet. Remember all those who gave it all for us!

  4. The reason for this day has been bugging me all day so I looked up some facts on Memorial Day. On May 30, 1868, Congress declared a Decoration Day for Americans to honor and mourn our military who gave the ultimate sacrifice for the USA. In 1970, the day's name was changed to Memorial Day and was to be held on the last Monday in May. So with respect I praise the personnel who have died while in service OTHER DAYS TO REMEMBER... Armed Forces Day, early May, to remember the men and women in service now. Veterans Day, Nov. 11, to remember all who have served in the Military. There should be a day for the Family of Military Service Members. They make sacrifices too.

  5. Hunter beat the number six in the nation Jordan Titus so 27-0 in the last two weeks. Congrats to Hunter. Hunter tied at the end of the third period 7-7 and hit a double in SV to secure the win.

  7. I am super glad you got to go see QB 1 take his place in the long line of Wildcat alums. If all my sisters and brothers were still alive we would have had eight Palmer children, three nephews and one niece in attendance. That is 12 ORHS graduates with one former Wildcat football player, one former Wildcat Fish, two former SoccerCats, and two former TrackCats. I didn't do anything at ORHS except be weird and go to most sporting events.

  9. I agree. Again this is just me thinking and talking but I got a feeling the new OC may turn ol' Damron loose. He did have over 300 yards passing against last years 5A State Champions. Credit Odoms as well but Damron can definitely sling that ball. A good solid passing game could definitely make the defense respect the pass which will give the run game a little more chance to be successful (especially behind big #76)

  10. On paper at first glance it doesn't look great. Everything I can tell Bledsoe is only his 3rd stop as HC. He was Head Coach at Monterey when he was a young guy from (1995-1997) and was (5-27) and then at Stewart Co. (2000-2002) and was (7-23) . However from what I can find he has been an Assistant Coach at Emanuel County Institute in Georgia until he took the job in Pikeville (2004-2018) . He was ECI's Offensive Coordinator from (2008-2018) in that span they were (110-27) won 5 Region Titles and their 2nd State Championship and his offense put up a combined 5,249 points in those years he was OC. It appears he learned a lot in that span and found or developed an offense he really likes and makes it where his kids can execute it. The past two years after he left for Pikeville, ECI (2019-2020) is (10-11) only scoring 512 points. His two years at Bledsoe Co. (2019-2020) Tabor and BCHS is (19-5) scoring 696 points of which 387 was scored last season. In the previous five years (2014-2018) Bledsoe Co. scored a combined 923 points.

  11. He will draw his state retirement plus his CBHS salary. Probably at least a 30K raise overall. AND work for his son in law.
