I know they had an off year last year; but didn’t the mhs girls go to state the previous two years including a 30 win season? Hated to see Coach West leave. Did tons of good stuff for the football team as well.
Yeah I heard y’all handled us pretty good skill position wise. It is good to know we had a receiver that excelled. I personally think 7 v 7 is a bit outside of our comfort zone. In sp along with Carr, he is going to look to pound the rock. That may come as a surprise to some given his back ground but he firmly believes you have to be able to run the ball to win football games. Hopefully your two linemen get back and are a credit to your line.
Very tough region to pick this year, I think the top 4 will be the top 4 but the order is a huge ?
Definitely possible, their history with lack of offense makes it very difficult to pick them though
He’s been riding Shad for the longest. I originally thought it was cause he’s a Maryville guy and he wanted to mess with the WB people. But Shad isn’t there anymore. So it seems odd to me. Definitely a man crush.
Region 4 should be interesting with westmoreland and maybe even ER better than usual and closer to the level of Trousdale and Watertown than in the last few years.
The New Word of the Day at Eagleton College is Justice.
Shad told the team today the Taco's at the nearby La Lupita Mexican Store are actually Justice good as the one's at Pancho's across town.
Not to mention he was one of the nicest men you could ever run into. People that criticize him are probably miserable. The kind of people you can not make happy regardless of what you try to do. If you cured cancer they would complain that it took you too long.... Murphy worked really hard and was treasure to high school football in this state. I wish him a happy retirement.
Murphy Fair did a lot of great things for high school football across the state of TN for such a long period of time. Donovan Stewart does an amazing job covering high school football as well. Instead of criticizing and trying to throw shade at Murphy Fair for what he knew/didn’t know perhaps you should be appreciative of the good things he did to promote high school football and young people across the state for so many years.
Happy Retirement Murphy! Hope to catch you at a game sometime.
