Lewis should get back to scheduling teams like Fairview, Marshall Co. or even Page to get them ready for games like tonight.

Pearl better get the busses gassed up. They are heading to Stewart County next week.

Why did the administration not allow team to travel? Was it positive cases, contact tracing or by the article they were just being cautious? if it is the latter then that administration should be relieved of its duties immediately.

Looks like Creek Wood is scared of some competition. Get ready for some big boy football. This region will be fun week in and week out. Central had a chance to move to 5A and missed the deadline. Lawrence County’s move was not justifiable. They were avoiding.good teams and were willing to drive farther for it.

TSSAA has voted that all district and region tournaments will be held at higher seed, eliminating all Central Site tournaments for the school year. Looks like the regular season just got that much more important.

So you going to bash the entire team for one player’s action? Sounds like the coach stopped something before it got out of hand. Unfortunately teenagers make bad decisions. We have scrimmaged Fairview for many years and never had issues with the players or staff. It is always a physical scrimmage where both teams get after it. Earlier you wanted coaches fired from a staff that has produced 4 straight region titles until getting knocked off by Stewart Co. Like someone said earlier you sound like some daddy whose boy is not getting playing time. You sound far from a fan of the team, maybe you should put in your application to coach. Memphis with 3 districts in AA. I know someone in West TN throwing a hissy fit this morning. Good job by TSSAA getting it right.

Coach Osteen and staff will clean up the penalties. I know it was preached on today. Players have to realize their selfishness on the field hurts everyone.

New CDC guidelines now state you will be quarantined when you have 15 minutes of exposure over a 24 hour period.

No I believe he is being serious. I believe Alcoa fans are ready for the change in moving up.

I would love to have seen Alcoa play up on 4A. I think it would have made it the 2nd best classification behind 6A.

There 3A region will be easier than their 2A region.

If they knew Alcoa was staying 3A it was a great move by them.

That is not how it works. Schools basically turn in players eligibility stating they are good to go via all avenues and TSSAA bases their eligibility off that info; however if that info is not correct due to school error or players not being truthful they can be deemed ineligible at a later time. If Milan fans are hanging their hat on the TSSAA deemed their eligible earlier doesn’t mean a hill of beans if new info was brought to the table.
