Best spot for Spring Fling?

We didn't have enough hotel rooms?  I never heard any complaints this year.

 

I even heard somebody went to one of the hotels right in the middle of the venues on Thursday afternoon and was able to get a room.

Rutherford Co and Murfreesboro at that are two of the fastest gowing counties/cities in the nation ... alot of ppl, alot of fans, alot of money, alot of fun.

Murfreesboro is constructing a new soccer complex.  Several nice softball fields in the area (and they are in Tennessee - sorry - just had to get that in there - LOL!)  I believe that  MTSU has commented that they would be willing to upgrade their track facility? Don't know about the tennis venues?  Am I forgetting anything???

I am for rotating from Memphis, to Nashville, to Knoxville...gives everyone an opportunity to travel and to stay at home. Nashville could be played at Lipscolm and Greer and Vanderbilt. IF it is going to be permanent...The 'Boro between Oakland, Riverdale, and MTSU.

 

Regretably...it is not up to us nor are our opinions being asked. We simply pay the bills.

Where would be the best spots for the spring fling.I've always thought they should have it in Nashville in the middle of the state.But what do you think,Memphis,Jackson,Nashville,Murfresboro,Chattanooga,Knoxville,or some other city.The main point is where you could play the State Championships at for Baseball

My sources are telling me that the board of control has accepted MTSU and Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce's proposal to host the spring fling. Also am hearing that murfreesboro will be able to keep the state basketball tourney thru 2009
