Football Radio Coverage

I know that Oak Ridge has an awsome job of covering HS sports on WATO 1290 AM. Clinton is covered by WYSH 1380 AM.

 

Does anyone else have any radio stations that provide coverage to HS Football?

Go to www.tricitiessports.com. Go to Live simulcast. You will see several AM radio stations around the Tri Cities that carry all kinds of sports and local sports talk. I know that WKIN & WKIN carry Dobyns Bennett Football and you can listen directly from the www.tricitiessports.com website.

I know that WLIV covers Livingston football, and WVFB covers Clay County football in the Upper Cumberland.

 

There are several other stations in the area whose call letters I don't know that have covered area teams for years and do a very good job.

Blount County games are on WBCR AM 1470. You can listen online @ http://www.blountweb.com/wbcr/ . That's the only way I can hear the Rebels in Mississippi.

WGRV-1340? AM Greeneville carries Greeneville High School

WMXK 94.1 FM Morristown covers Morristown West

WRGS AM Rogersville carries Cherokee High School

No idea if anyone covers David Crockett or Boone but I dont think they do.

WANT FM-98.9 in Lebanon covers the Blue Devils live on Friday nights. They have a 30-minute pregame show and a 30-minute post game show complete with stat wrap-up and live interview with the coach from the field.

Once they sign off there is a 90-minute call-in show with scores, highlights and comments from around Wilson County and the mid-state.

 

WTNK 1090-AM in Hartsville carries Trousdale County High on a Saturday morning taped delay basis.

 

WUCZ-104.1 FM in Carthage and the AM station over there (WRKN-1350) swap up live Friday night coverage of Smith County High and Gordonsville High. One will carry Smith County one week, then swap the next and cover Gordonsville.

 

WHIN (1010 AM) in Gallatin has been covering the Green Wave live for years. I think they do an hour pre-game show. They also have Saturday tape-delay of the Green Wave and Westmoreland High.
