alcoa06
Shiverdecker made a mistake coming to Alcoa, RIGHT NOW. He should have waited untill Dustin is gone because he is only going to get 10 carries a game at the most. He may get a few more in the 2A games just because the games will be very lopsided and Dustin will be relaxing on the sideline. If he can run with WR's though, then he can be a very intimidating corner. I met him thursday at school and he is a big strong kid. But, I guess as our Maryville friends know very well, the big rings are very appealing.
FuquaFan40
I believe I've only seen one Class 1-A runner mentioned. Who are some of the top runners at that level? 825690930 i

bhsOL
Yes, it was always official, some people just didn`t want to accept it. 825704657 Why did he transfer?
Tom142
Well, as I've heard RebelNation say...He wants to be on a team that has a very good shot at winning a ring this year, and then next year, he wants to be the main offensive threat, and help his team win another ring. He'll still get 5-10 carries a game this year, but next year he'll be the man.

kwc
Too many RB's throughout the state to name one as the best. Charlie Jordan of Whitestation needs to be thrown in the mix. I don't know stats ... but everybody who follows highschool football in Memphis knows ... he's the real deal. All purpose back with tremendous speed and a very high touchdown rate. Top notch! You guys who live in Middle and East Tennessee probably don't know much about this guy ... believe me ... he's all that and a bag of chips! Tmoney2006
I think Chad Johnson from Kingston should be on this list. He had over 1400 yards rushing behind a young, questionable offensive line.

bleachercoach
TMoney2006- If Johnson could hold onto the football he might be able to make a run at this title. The statement about a questionable line, give me a break. That questionable line gave Johnson the holes, sometimes cracks maybe, to run through. Two things Johnson needs to concentrate on this year; 1) learning how to be a team player and leader. It aint't about him. It's about the TEAM! 2) HOLD ON TO THE FOOTBALL!! Otherwise, he'll be another good football player that had the talent but nobody wanted his attitude, lack of work ethic, and ball handling skills. Of course, his current coach could do something about all of that, but won't.
