i've been calling this game would be one of the games of the year, and it would be between to undefeated teams. nobody has believed me all year, and while you may not want to believe it, almost everyone on here has underrated wilson central until now.

as ive been saying since week 1, the champs get dethroned on september 30th, and the goalposts go down, and Central will win the region.

WC 24

Riverdale 17

when it comes to region 4 AAAAA football, predictions dont matter. its all about big plays and surprises. riverdale can be beaten. lavergne showed that. riverdale isnt the football machine they once were. teams like Wilson central, and lavergne are adapting and it wont be long before one of these teams grows a pair and topples them. as far as whos winning this friday, i say riverdale. i would rather have Lavergne upset the big bad warrior in the playoffs. sorry WC.

i know that Wilson Central has a good running game but can they pass?? i believe riverdale will stick 8 or 9 in the box to stop that Wing T and dare them to pass against us..

i also believe unlike any other team riverdale will be able to run against Wilson Central.. we just seem to run no matter if it works or not and eventually gaston gets in the groove.. and it also helps that we got big old Tamar running as fast as he does with how BIG he is..

should be a great game.. hope to see you guys on friday.. so you take 840 towards lebanon right?

that's what hendersonville tried to do, and what happened? we threw for almost 300 yards. now im not saying that hendersonville is anywhere near riverdale, but yes, we definately can throw. i think that is one of the huge differences between this year's team and last year's. Scott has made HUGE strides since last year.

Definitely the game of the week in the midstate. Tough one to predict. Riverdale will probably win, but if they open the door even a little bit, WC may gain anough confidence to pull it off.

RHS-20

WCHS-7

WCHS and Ravenwood have shown it doesn't take long for a new school to get very good in football quickly.

I don't know that any team can hold Wilson Central to 7 points. I expect them to be in the mid to high twenties.

Riverdale 30

Since Gallatin is no where close to Riverdale I would look for WC to get their first loss this year. Gallatin has good D speed but I would have to say Riverdales is faster. I would look for them not to give up the cheap pass down the middle or least make a sure tackle instead of going for the ball. WC does have an underrated defense even though. I was impressed with how the were around the ball and made adjustments as the game went by.

Exit 81-A 35

Exit 72-B 21

    • Best-of-three sectional series vs East Robertson at home starting Wednesday.  They put us out last year at this point.  Go Pirates!!
    • I don't believe they have anyone that is surbers caliber but a decent staff overall.
    • Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?
    • Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
