Maryville Ranked #25 In National Poll

Nice to get some national recognition for all the boys hard works. Just imagine how high we would be ranked if not for that horrible saturday up in Morristown when we played the sloppiest game i've ever seen from a maryville team(4 turnover in 1st half/6 overall). Lost in OT. We would have a 65 game winning streak right now instead of a 24. Anyways, here is the link . . .

Oh, Man don't get me started on that. Believe it or not the kids have not forgotten that game yet as, It has been the only loss these seniors have seen!

Read it, they are and have been for a few months now.

 

No question Maryville belongs there as they have the best winning record in the state last the past 6-7 years.

That is nice. I would love to see Maryville ranked higher at the end of the season. What I really want is another 15-0 season with a 4A Title.

I'll echo what everyone else is saying though. This means absolutely nothing. Leverage your momentum, shore up the leaks, rest up the injured and then go bring home another gold ball!

 

I think this year's path through the playoffs will be a tough one...
