I am not going to predict this one. I think it's about even. Comes down to who wants it the most. I do know this whoever wins will get the big test the next Friday night. I do think SP's defense is underestimated.

Can South Pitt stop Friendship's high powered attack? Can they score on Friendship? Can South Pitt play a whole game? They have a tendency to relax once they get a lead. If this happens versus Friendship they will lose.

You don't have to worry about South Pitt blowing a lead, because they will never have a lead!!! Friendship by 21!!!

Friendship will not win by 21. They may win but it will not be a blowout. They are a private school so they probably think they will kill South Pitt.

 

Funny how not a single FCS supporter has brought up the fact that we are a private on this thread - at least not in a sense that we are any better than anyone else because of it. Blacky, you might want to check that inferiority complex at the door. The rest of the SP supporters don't seem to have that problem. Sticking with my pick ... FCS by 14. :thumb:

Friendship is a 1A football team that happens to be private. A fact that the players and their fans are proud of. Before you start worrying about FC private status you better start worrying about South Pitt's weak schedule and competition level played thus far this season.

 

Obviously with Boyd Buchannon gone your Region is down and with TC coming into Region 4 ours is significantly better. The fact that FC beat non region foes Davidson Academy (playing in Division II STATE Semifinal game) and Collinwood (Upset winners last week) and that their only losses came on the road at TC (ranked #1 in most polls) and Ezell Harding (still playing in Class 2A) might be something more important than the fact that FC is a private school!!!

      We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.

      Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.

      I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.

      I'm from Cloudland and we've never played a sectional game.  We need to win tomorrow night to avoid that bus ride.  Us and north greene can play with you guys so I'm expecting good games whoever the matchup is.
