Sorry to hear about the Cavs' loss... ya'll had another great season. Not too much to be ashamed of only losing to the mighty Riverdale by 7.

Thanks. We got love for Livingston & I know most of ya'll got it for us too! B)

 

I personaly work with an alum & former LA football player.

 

Couple of my friends & I have already made plans to go to the 'Boro when LA makes it there!

 

But first things first.BEAT NOTRE DAME!! B)

I'll have to say this game was as good as the first time these teams met. More importantly the Cats pulled out the win with a tremendous effort. It sure took that kind of effort to beat a team as good as Catholic. It a shame that some one had to lose.

 

I'm so happy for the coaches and players. You guys deserve to be where you are at this point. You have faced adversity all year and never quit. That just shows the character and heart of this team. There's a lot of teams that would have folded when Catholic scored that last TD. But you never quit and that last drive was all heart and guts. That's what separates the good teams from the average teams.

 

Congratulations Cats you made history tonight. No team has every made it this far in the play-offs. After 3 straight road wins you definitely deserve hosting a Semi Final game.

He got robbed! KC has a good kicker. He should have made that extra point. IMO OCF, you nailed the score!

 

Man, I just had a feeling McGill was going to get a FG tonight! First of the year if I'm not mistaken! Can't believe KC kicker missed a PAT though!! Got a feeling McGill comes through again next week-- LA-31 ND-28... GO BIG BLUE!!

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
