With 4:55 left in the game PCHS was leading 42-21.

Clay substituted players and with Copas, Watson, T. Williams, K. Williams, Kerr on the floor mounted an unbelievable come back and actually cut it to 2.

Clay outscored Pickett 17-0 and then 21 to 1

Clay's rally ended up short after outscoring Pickett on their floor 23-5 in less than 5:00.

 

Same two teams will play 1st round elimination game in the D7A tourney at Baxter!

i believe clay will win on neutral floor.clay has a better team than they'show If they can put a complete game togather they can play they've showed that in several games but just in spurts

yes they could win if she plays the right players last night was rediculous why did she not sub long way before she did the coach needs to get a grip and be a coach play the players who cares

This was a yawner up until the last 5 minutes of the game. Give the coach credit for making the right moves, yeah it might have been a little late but she did find a good mix with this five on the floor and it seemed to work against Pickett. I'm sure the next time these two teams play this line up will be used alot more!

This was a yawner up until the last 5 minutes of the game. Give the coach credit for making the right moves, yeah it might have been a little late but she did find a good mix with this five on the floor and it seemed to work against Pickett. Now Devil, I know your trying to be nice but come on. You've seen this woman coach for 2 years now and she never does anything that makes any kind of sense. She never plays the right players at the right times...EVER. She is a horrible coach. It's as if she wants to be fired. This is a team that Mr. Sims would have competing to go to state and she'll be lucky to get them out of district.

 

Copas, Watson, T. Williams, K. Williams, Kerr...these are the girls that brought us back. Think they'll get back on the court together? Me either.

 

To answer Muffins question agian, YES. Having no coach would be better than having Paige over there screwing things up. I'm tired of watching one of the most talented group of girls to ever go through Clay Co./Celina get beat by teams they should demolish. It's just pathetic.

sims got out because he would have to coach instead of out talent teams like years before and with jackson co coming in he wouldnt gonna hang around for that

Not true at all. He had been wanting to get out and when he took a team to the state tourney that no one thought could get out of the region, he decided that was the perfect opportunity to leave. Maybe some of those other teams ran themselves but he proved what he could do with that last team. Hopefully he'll be gack next year...please.
