My teams have played againist Epiphanny Prince since she was in 9th grade and she is truely a amazing player.

From the article, it sounds as if they didn't even attempt to guard her. Winning by 100, I don't see this as great an accomplishment as it sounds.

No where in that article does it imply that. Congratulate the girl for what she accomplished? Can you score 113 in 32 minutes. Probably not.

This 100+ scoring is a joke just like Cheryl Miller & Lisa Leslie doing it back in their day. If anyone bothered to check the opponent they are probably some very weak program that offered themselves up as a sacrificial lamb for such an effort. I'll be willing to bet this girl rarely left the offensive end and the whole game was a setup for her to score that many.

 

I would never take her on a TEAM of mine.

Notice that she only hit one free throw. That speaks to the quality of defense being played against her.

The article I read does imply that the opposing team coach stated they gave up playing any defense the entire second half. What does that say about her so called accomplishment??!! It also says the league they play in is not very strong!!. I'm not doubting this young girl has talent and I'm not saying she did anything wrong, in my opinion, her coach should be FIRED!! Basketball is a team sport no matter what some people think, and any coach that has a lead in a game like this team evidently did, and decides to continue to let this girl rack up points just to break a record really doesnt understand what the game of basketball is all about.

Apparently Vivian Stringer, the HC at Rutgers thought enough to give her a scholarship. Ill take Vivian Stringer's knowledge of the game over anybody else on this website
