CONGRATS Girls on a sub-state birth.. Hope ya'll make it back to the Boro for a second year in a row, be nice to bring back a gold ball to STOWN.. or a RUNNER-UP banner, or even a FINAL FOUR... lol, sumthin. Anywho.. Good Game to PC tonite too, ya'll scared me with all the 3's at the end, nice comeback though.. you made it interesting to say the least. Good Luck Girls in the Regional Finals.. I'ma try to make it if I can. Anybody know how Tamia Tucker is doin by the way.. ?? for her to fall and not get back up, I know she's gotta be hurtin.. hope she's doin ok and hope to see her playin again.

HA! HA! HA! Take that PC and your Miss Basketball nominees!!! How can you have a finalist for this award when you finish 3rd in the district and can not beat Summertown?!?!

Your are obviously an IDIOT so I wont' even address that comment. Perry County Girls played a heck of a game, they played the whole game with heart and never gave up. They played good team ball just went a little cold early in the third. Never gave up and fought hard! We are sooo proud of you Lady Vikings!! It's been a heck of a ride.

A trainer that looked at Tamia's knee at the game indicated it may be an ACL -

 

They took her to Maury Regional tonight to get it X-rayed/MRI, etc. Hopefully it is just a strain, and not a tear. I doubt she will be back for Thursday night, but hopefully she can play on Saturday. Will post when I know more.

Hopefully she will be able to make a quick recovery...they do need her she

is a great asset and player for her team!! Great game Summertown.

 

Perry county never gave up and gave a great final effort! (I thought

there was a plate over the net...it just would not go in...this wasn't the only

game I saw like this tonight!) :thumb:

 

Congratulations girls on a well played game! We want you to win for our

Regional Finals...you are doing a great job! :thumb:

      Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?

      Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
