RHScooling
Hey, this may seem a little off subject since I'm not technically talking soccer, but does anybody know where I can get my hands on one of those deep fog horns that you see people in the stands with at all the pro games? I'm not talking about those canned air type horns but the long ones that you blow just like a regular horn. And please no "I think you can get them here..." I've been hearing that all day in my quest to find one, but if you know for sure, please let me know. I'd love to get my hands on one by next week. Thanks!! Thanks!! i hate to broke it to you but you might get thrown out because they use fog horns to signal subs and at the end of halfs so the officials might not take to kindly to doing that
RHScooling
I think you are talking about the high pitched canned air type horns that I don't want. The ones I am talking about are very low pitched and definitely would not be confused with the officials' horns. In fact, I've seen them at some of the play off games already, so I don't think confusion should be an issue.

Whitey
Artificial noise makers of all types are supposed to be prohibited at TSSAA soccer games. Refs can and should have them confiscated and removed from the crowd: they have in the past at other soccer games and should continue to do so now. Ilovethisgame
My daughter ordered one from some Argentinian or Brazilian soccer web site. It cost about 10-15 dollars and 15 more for shipping. She searched every where and this was the only place to get one. It was confiscated at a basketball game but she did use it at several soccer games this season. I'll have her post the web site when she gets home but if you order one now by the time you get it we may be into the girl's season.
Tin-Man
i got mine at a MLS game outside the stadium. I am sure they sell alot of them there, but make sure before you go driving off to a MLS stadium to bye one.
VolunteerGeneral
Check with the folks at Marshall County. Seems they have lugged a train whistle around to a few football games. Got em in trouble a few years back at Crockett Co.
defender25
Ask somebody from Portland. Their football team sure knows enough about it! Edited May 13, 2006 by defender25
just4fun
I think you can buy them at a boat store or any marina. Places like Walmart even have them if they have a boat section. My recommendation is just clap and cheer. Fog horns are a little annoying.

You should be able to purchase one at the US vs Mor game on May 23rd. I think they should be allowed and encouraged at high school games, especially on bad calls
