Gavin Hardin- Jackson Central Merry-6'5 225 rover line backer

Finished second on the team last year in tackles behind all state line backer Tavis Hogsett. Played with incredible energy last year and hit a growth spurt this off season. He will be seeing quite a bit of action this year at tailback running behind Hogsett.

Definitely Brian Sommer, 6'1''- 180 lb. WR/DB from Alcoa. He had a state record in interceptions last year, with 13, I think. He returned 6 of those picks for TD's and also had 3 punt returns and 2 receiving TD's, plus one rushing TD, I believe. He was named the Prep-Xtra sophmore of the year last year, and is getting recruited by UT, Michigan, FSU, Miami, Ole Miss, Miss St., Arkansas, and S. Carolina.

Dont'a Hightower (RB): Marshall County

Hightower rushed for nearly 800 yards and 10TD's in Marshall County's final four games of the 2005 season. His play down the stretch carried the team to the playoffs thanks to big region wins over both Montgomery Central and Giles Co.

DeAunte Mason (QB): Pearl-Cohn

Threw for more than 1,000 yards and 11TD's and rushed for an additional 500 yards and 6TD's last year starting at quarterback for a team that won nine games and advanced to the second round of the playoffs.

Yeah...NO DOUBT about Gavin Hardin. He`ll be the next in line of big time JCM recruits and many are saying he might be the best.
