If we can win out going 5-5(beat boone, cocke, and cherokee), do we still have a shot at the playoffs, need help from other games, or not have a shot at all?

anyone know the scenarios?

4 wins in the region should get you the 4th slot meaning that the Falcons would play at the #1 seed from region 1 (probably Sullivan South) in the first round of the playoffs. Awfully tough mountain to climb but good luck!

BIG WIN!!!! Biggest win in quite some time. You guys are starting to play up to your potential. Hats off to the team and the coaching staff. Four good weeks of football. Huge game next week. Gotta get the Gamecockes.

Stay focused on next weeks game and good things will happen.

I think you guys should have wins over Sullivan East,Central,Davey Crockett, and Cocke County. With losses to Mo West,East,Daniel Boone, and possible upsets of North,Greenville, and rival Cherokee. That would make for a 4-6 to a 6-4 season, most likely 5-5.Your not a 1 or 2 win team, but the whole team has to believe that.5 playing hard while 5 or 6 play like whats the use don't work.5 don't beat 11, it takes all 11 giving it there all and believing on every play.Stop waiting for something good to happen to play hard as a team.Go out and play hard as a team and make good things happen..What i mean by that is you have a few that plays hard every play, but some will only play hard when something good happens. For a few min. they got all fired up and get with it but as soon as things kinda settle down or something goes against them they lose there intensity. Each player must be able to focus totally on his assignments while being able to trust the guy beside him is doing the same. The first step to being a good team is wanting to and believing you can be.You guys are better than this....

Don't let up stay focused as a team and you will get there.Do not overlook CC, you dont want to blow the great chance you have.It would be a miserable feeling to go through all the adversity and then all the hard work and effort to turn it around to lose to CC.What you guy's have done builds a great amount of character so losing to them would be like them stealing your character from you.Keep and demand each other focused during the week on CC or you want be on Friday night.Thats all that counts now, there are no more second chances. You have the makings of a special season so go make it special, don't feel like you've accomplished anything just because u beat Boone. Never be satisfied when it comes to football, strive and desire more and you will be successful. Then when it's over you can look back and gauge your accomplishments. There should be know Hawkins county match ups mentioned, PERIOD! That game in reality is meaningless if you don't take care of CC!!!Good Luck

    • Hmmmmm……doe dee doe doe….i drove the lawnmower down to practice today…….hmmmm…… we got some new faces………. One can run faster than my lawnmower in fifth gear…… a few will be disappointed come November that they jumped ship and went down to that sewage facility……. You can bet the lawnmower on that.
    • I don't know what's going on in the town of McMinnville, but I've read this and it's disturbing.  I'm a "player" person, and I want what's best for the player. If a player gets cut off the team because she said the "F word" then good grief. I mean, come on guys. I wish there was a way for the player to transfer to a different program and just play ball. There are a lot of athletes that are stuck because they're in crappy situations regarding their team/coach. This is player just happens to be one them.
    • Won't happen. College coaches will back the coach every time and it cost this young lady her senior season. Looks like the player may be right on this one. School let her  go after one season. This stuff happens more than you think.
    • “No college is going to offer a scholarship to a player that is kicked off of the team.” For language? I’m not seeing that as a dealbreaker.
    • Why did the coach get rehired after she was let go as an assistant by the former Warren County coach and the current AD?? Is that accurate?? I am very familiar with situations like this. Suprised lawsuits haven't happend before. If the coach unfairly let the player go, I think she has a shot because it cost her a scholarship. No college is going to offer a scholarship to a player that is kicked off of the team. Not going to happen. There are bad hires like this a bunch and kids are treated unfairly by coaches that can't coach a lick and have super long ropes somehow. Amazing how some of these coaches get hired and keep their job.
