Manzikert
Tavares Jefferson at Ensworth is the best sophmore no one has seen. He is a real threat to score every time he touches the ball. Eric Gordon and Corey Jorden at Hillsboro both have potential to be top prospects I agree with you about Jefferson. If you'd like to see him, go to www.ensworth.com, click on the "Media Library"tab at the top of the page and click on the video highlights of Friday's game against Rossville Christian. There's a punt run back for a TD in the 1st half , and a TD run on a sweep near the end, both of which are really impresive. Not shown is an 75 yd TD punt return that got called back. He had 135 yds on 6 carries for 2 TDs and a 65 yard punt return for a TD. He'll face some stronger opposition later in the year, but he's a very impressive, elusive back. Panashell80
Sam Thompson from Alcoa. He has good speed and hands(WR), and will put a hit on anybody (SS). Starts both ways on this team. His first high school punt (replacing Fiegler) went 65 yards against Maryville last Friday. As a footnote, he is very bright, already holding a HIGH ACT score! We will hear great things about this young man during the next few years!

MPTigerT
Preston Gilbert from Mt.Pleasant. Started last year as a freshman on the defensive line. 6'4" 230 and ox strong in the trenches. Ryan English, Kyle Bays, and Hugh Johnson are all starting this year as sophomores.
football_guru
Look out for QB Pat Moore at Central. He may be on a bad team this year, but he is one of the elite up and coming athletes on a team that could turn around in a couple of years. itsnotwhowins
Zach Salada at Cookeville is going to be a great one. He had an 80 yard kick off return for a touchdown against Coffee County. He also had several good hard runs for good gains. Keep and eye on him. And also Taylor Hennigan the quarterback. If he has time to throw he seems to tear the defensive back field apart.

hsfbfan
i belive your mistaken he ahd only 54yrds on 13 carries 2 tds get your facts right Here are the stats from JPII v Webb Individual statistics Pope John Paul II Rushing Stephen Catagnani 6-34 Courtney Coffey 2-1 Golden Tate 13-54, 1 TD Wesley Tate 16-172, 2 TD Passing (CMP-ATT-INT-YDS) Stephen Catagnani 4-8-1-62 Receiving Tyler Baldridge 1-13 Josh Lovett 2-20 Wesley Tate 1-29 Kicking (FG-FGA XP-XPA Pts.)
