Farragut @ Knox Central

dont get me wrong Central is good but Farragut is alot better than what they showed tonight...IMO... but we will have to see in the coming weeks how we do.

I dont think its that 4A is worse than 5A but i mean you have to admit that MOST teams in 4A would not have a chance against alot of 5A teams. still cant get over teh central students.. very unsportsmanlike. throwin crap at the farragut kids. and then the cops acted like we were doing stuff wrong. ridiculous. i mean yea we basically did have a kid escorted away by the [olice for somthing completely different but there is no need to do what the central kids we doing. never is there a need for that. if ur a student at either school and were at the game im sure u know what i am talking about.

i think they just give up. but thats just me. i dont wanna just say they give up but sometimes it seems like thats what happens. and once again. not too happy bout the hospitality from the Central students... and all i can say again is we didnt play well at all.

I still say a different head coach could make a differance.

Wow! Really surprised at this score. I thought this was going to be one of those games that would go down to the wire.

like i said we didnt play well at all. as far as i know no one in our secondary has more than 20minutes of game time against 1st string.

and rigger i seem to think ur right. Courtney is a good coach but i think Farragut needs that extra boost to get em over the hump and to a state championship game. and i really hope most people on here know what im talkin about when i say im disappointedi nthe central students.. i heard they had class. they didnt show it tonight.

Ok I will bite!

What did they do except throw stuff. I've been to Central and the Fountain City area for other sports and don't remember seeing a problem. It's a great area.

they threw a frickin like half pint of pee at us. i saw no farragut people throw a single thing before they just started throwin stuff at us. im not saying farragut didnt do anything but theres still no reason to throw pee. thats just terrible. and what was crazy was the cops were focusing on the farragut people acting like the central people did nothing wrong. apparently having alchol and making a good show is worse than throwing pee at people. but oh well. im just gonna stick with we played like crap. and was that punt blocked? and y was it still 4th down after the penalty? and i think thats where the game really started going Centrals way for good. that whole series of plays. possible blocked punt, then a fumble for a td for central. i mean i guess i cant complain too much cuz central did play well but it was farraguts first game so u cant expect em to have everything right the first game. hopefully it will get better as the season goes on.

obviously u just saw the score and assumed like most people. but yeah ill say Central pretty much dominated the game but not because they are that much better. just cuz farragut lookedl ike they had no clue what to do. and have u read any of the posts before u posted? FARRAGUT PLAYED TERRIBLE! simple as that.

yea i was very suprised at the score and i do agree that farragut is alot better then what they showed tonight.

 

as for central fans, we're a tough crowd to face. we aren't nice....at all if you wanna play in the bobcats house your gonna have to learn to get used to it. we've had strong teams for the last few years and we're there to make sure that they have our full support. as for the throwing stuff thing, not trying to start stuff but the first thing thrown was a plastic football by someone in the first 4 rows of the farragut student section. it was throw at someone on the railing in the front after that we started throwing back. when the water bottle came over we threw the jug ect. we are the toughest crowd, we aren't nice, and we're highschoolers. if you wanna come to the bobcats house, be prepared, we aren't nice we aren't sportsmen like and we're there to watch another winning game for the bobcats. and trust me our fans want that reputation and its not gonna change. people act like its all about how bad central fans were when farragut fans were saying stuff and flippin me personally off. no one on here can't tell me that if you're a farragut fan and u would have been winning you wouldn't have been chantin at us too. get used to it bc the bobcat fans are here to stay.
