They looked really good, and we played very bad.

(But we start a Freshman Keeper and our backs are a Freshman and 3 Sophomores, so we'll make some mistakes and learn from them.) Some tough lessons learned. Good luck to all.

Akula--The MHS girls were really pumped up...maybe it was that shredded Rebel flag that one of the Alcoa fans had <g>. Alcoa played hard/will improve and will be a factor in their district/region. #3 stopper was flat out tough. Hope all of your girls who cramped/got dinged up are OK--good luck the rest of the way.

That's a tough one to take, although losing early is a lot better than losing late. I would agree with wiredtowin that the torn up flag probably didn't help, although it also may be that Maryville wanted to start off the season with a bang. Akula, you will get those girls where they need to be. Tell them to keep their heads up, and remember that these games are the warm ups for districts. While they are tough to swallow, they really don't mean anything in their quest for a title. Good luck.

Wish I felt as good about Centennial as the pollster. This team is not as talented as last years team and Hendersonville took it to the Cougars in their scrimmage last week(3-1).

yes they have a few flaws(has does everyone else)especially on the right side of the formation but with fisher scoring goals and trocino runing the middle they will be fine
