Game night is finally here!!! Looks like I'm going to have to pull the rain gear from the trunk of the car for this one. I hate that it is on Homecoming night for Smith Co. (I'm talking about the rain here not the fact that were playing you on your homecoming.) That can be the pits for the girls in the homecoming court. I still think it will be a close game. I don't think the Tigers will have to tuck tails or the fans having to eat crow. This win will go to the Tigers!!

Grrrr tiger...is your initials SC and are you a jr in highschool? If this is not you I won't ask any more questions about you? It was something you said on the Macon/York thread that made me think I knew you. :D

Everyone have a safe trip down the hill for the BEST game of the year!! See ya'll there!!

weird...your exactly right..thats me. you'd think i know you too but i don't. the york vs. macon game was the first one I got to go to this year. Are you in highschool also?

Goodluck you guys today is the big day!! Tigers Rule!! whoo!!

There was a good crowd there consideriing it was pouring the rain 45 minutes before kickoff. Several left and went home...or went to their vehicles. There were still people coming back in after the 1st quarter. You have to also realize TC's stadium holds 5000 on each side. I really didn't think our crowd was very vocal...though. Maybe it was because the game was not close.

That is what I was talking about, the people were there, just not as loud as I expected. I expected the place to go nuts on that First TD. The QB impressed me with his ability to step up in the pocket and throw the ball instead of trying to run around the end away from the pressure like most High School QB's.

28 - 10 OWLS!!! The 28 - 7 prediction almost held up. Once again the owls defense shut down a supposed to be great offense. I believe Macon's qb threw probably forty to fifty times, and I believe he had what, four picks??? :thumb: Great job tonight Owls, you all played great. Tez Hembrey played crazy, 1 recieving td, 1 pick, and 1 td off a kickoff return. Bass had 2 picks, and Davenport got the 4th one and took it to the house!

Have a safe trip home Tigers.

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
