mcminn scored first on 4th down from the 2. OR scored on 3rd down, went for two and pass fell incomplete. Mcminn could have had a chance to win in regulation but threw an INT in the end zone with 15 seconds left. OR in turned fumbled which mcminn returned to about the 15 with 2 seconds left, but the ball carrier was called down. Go Cherokees.

I have never understood why any coach would go for 2 in OT, when the PAT would take it to the 2nd OT. Make the opponent screw up, that's how you play Overtime. Stevens will replay that decision many times over the next several weeks.

This region got a little more interesting after tonights action. 5 teams 4 playoff spots. McMinn has the easiest schedule of the 5 playoff contenders left. Huge game with the Govs in a couple of weeks. I would expect the Cherokees to handle Soddy, Heritage, and Bradley without much trouble. The Blount/McMinn winner should be in and the loser is probably out of the hunt.
