[/quote] Incredible highschool coach with an outstanding staff to boot. Congrats George for a job very well done As a parent to a Rebel in his senior year I couldn't have hand picked a better situation for my son to participate in. Not only do they teach the game as good as anybody but they teach incredible life skills that will carry our kids for the rest of their life. I am extrememly greatful that my son could be a part of this great experience and incredible program
REBELRON
As a Maryville fan. I am enjoying the time that Quarles is at Maryville. How lucky are us Rebel fans to have Quarles as our coach?

mreb33101
The Rebels were 10-3 in 1999. They lost in the third round to Central.

STARSNBARS
G.Q. started 10-7, since then he is 90-2. I would say that's gettin' it dunn. Edited September 30, 2006 by STARSNBARS
cornpone
G.Q. started 10-7, since then he is 90-2. I would say that's gettin' dunn. He is without a doubt THE top coach in east tn maybe the state. He has surrounded himself with top quality assistants and havin' a great bunch of football players year in and year out don't hurt either. As an outsider lookin in, to all you detractors who cry that he recuits this or that player my advice is that if it's true then quit cryin' about it and get fulmer to hire the man as his recuiter. congrats to coach Quarles and the rebels
Rebel96
The 1999 results are wrong on rebelsnation.com. It mentions that we beat Greeneville 28-12 in the 3rd round. That game actually occured in 2000. The record should show 10-3. Congratulations Coach Quarles on win 101. Bring that 2006 golden ball back to where it belongs.....MHS. tnnitehawk
Congrats to not only a great coach, but also a fine gentleman and strong family man. I have had the pleasure of providing police services by working the home games and privilege of escorting the teams to playoffs and Murfeesboro. Watch him both on and off the field and you can see why he is a credit to MHS, City of Maryville, and Tennessee Secondary School Athletics. He also has a staff that has the same values and beliefs. I also have had the pleasure to speak with his father after almost every game and it is clear to see that those qualities were instilled in GQ growing up. Congrats again !!!
