Ridgeway stinks they are horrible. they have not played anyone all year with the same running attack that millington has. this will not be a game millington by 21+

besides ridgeway has no D-LIne

LOLOLOLOLOLOL!

This is so transparently obvious it's downright funny! ... Thanks for the laugh!

I could have sworn that Ridgeway beat Millington twice last year with the same defensive line. It should be a good game, but come on 21+ ? Ridgeway has one of the best defenses around. 3/4 of the points scored on Ridgeway this year have come in the 4th quarter when the second team defense is in the game. I'm still trying to stop laughing at your post.

Ridgeway will absolutely shut Millington down the exact same way they did TWICE last year when Millingotn's offense scored a grand total of 0 points. You have no idea what you have just done. I hope for Millington's sake that none of our players read this...better keep an ambulance on hand...

Rhsplaya55,

Ridgeway by at least 21 pts.

Although I have not seen Millington play this year, their defense appears to be about as worthless as a plug nickel! I'm basing this on the ton of points they've given up this year (particularly to mediocre teams), and actually witnessing their porous defense the last 2 years.

Ridgeway is in a totally different league (strengthwise) than what Millington has played thus far. As such, look for Ridgeway and and Crawford will have a field day, running the ball and scoring points.

Ridgeway has a good defense, especially vs the run. Millington has always been a run-oriented team. Their only hope of moving the ball consistently and actually beating Ridgeway--is to somehow change its identity (not very likely) and implement an agressive 60-40 pass/run mix. Otherwise, they'll be lucky to score 7 pts, let alone beat Ridgeway.

PS....RhsPlayer55, let's all hope for a clean, injury-free game B)

i hope the game s injury free trader...i was just saying that when you come on here running your mouth like that a few people are going to take it personally and things happen...and Crawford and that defense are the last people you want to get riled up like that.

Does anyone on this post really think that a real HS player cares what is said here and that they need this for motivation. This is fun for the fans and others that can't let go of what they once had but its really sad if any of you think what is said matters to the real players in this game. It would be even worse if their were players in this game that did actually need insignificant chatter from insignifcant people to motivate them for this game. The fact of the matter is Ridgeway is the Defending Region 7-5A champion and unbeaten this year or last year by any team in west Tn 5A so to remain in that position they know they have to bring it everyweek because they should get everyones best shot. Millington finished 3rd last year in their region and beaten twice by Ridgway so what do you think their motivation is?????? All the smack talkers can have fun with it but find another couple of programs that care about what you think. These two teams and staffs don't need your futile effort to motivate. Good luck to the teams Friday night and remember these are not the exact same two teams that played each other last year, should be fun.........

    • OK, well, that’s because two quarterbacks can’t start. That’s football 101. The main quarterback won the starting job, so he was on varsity, and the Seymour transfer did not win the starting job. He played some varsity. He was mainly junior varsity, and he balled out when healthy, so for the starting quarterback who’s been starting varsity since his freshman year, if you have any form of proof that he’s gotten worse, somehow, whether that means stats or whatnot, please feel free to share.
    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
    • An FYI: To see how an opponent has done against another opponent since 2001- go to the game by clicking on one of the teams. Click the G beside the game. For example, Milan: The info will show you the previous matchups and other info.
