Warren county @ Riverdale Riverdale

Blackman @ cookeville Cookeville

White county @Siegel White county to me this is the toughest pick

lebanon @oakland oakland im iffy on this one too

White county will always be tough and have improved over the season. As has been posted before, White is one post player away from a very very good team. White is the most underrated team in the District. Cookeville beating Blackman by such a close score makes one realize that Blackman has improved also. Cookeville has to play them again the first game of the tournament and evidentlythere could have been a recent injury at Cookeville that has effected their play a little. Cookeville is a well balanced team and DEEP and will not hurt their chances to win the District Tourney

With Riverdale beating White Tonight, Siegel beating lebanon, Cookeville beating Blackman, the regular season is over.

Tournament matchups on the 15th are:

Warren county @ Riverdale

Blackman @ cookeville

White county @Siegel

lebanon @oakland

then the Tournament moves to Riverdale when the two semifinalist games are played.

This has been a great regular season for 7AAA and there were some surprises.

All of the first round games are played at the higher seed's house? Is that what you are saying?

I've heard some terrible news and I hope its not true - Has the masters girl from Cookeville hurt her knee?!

Some information has been seen that may support that statement but this poster had rather treat it as a rumor and let someone from cookeville confirm it. Allie Masters has played basketball in the summer since age 10 when I first saw her. She loves the game. At that age she came a long way off the ridge to play and her parents, I know have supported her in this endeavor. That was some time ago and some distance away and its rather a pleasing coinsidence to look out on the floor one night and see a gangly young lady who has developed her game and remember another time at another place and remember a mother bringing a gangly 10 year old into a gym and hearing about this player from Cookeville that really wanted to play. If this is the case, and someone will confirm it if true, as many know, these type injuries are to every degree in severity and time off and its unfortunate that this is one of the times of the year they happen whem players get tired, don't get enough rest and get themselves in a situation it can occur. Players that have injuries at this time of the year, a lot of times, need a lot of support from their teammates in the time off for they wind up blaming themselves many times for letting the team down. Hope everything turns out all right.

While this may have been the thrid time i have posted this thought, it still is the most obvious fact in 7AAA play this year and needs to be posted again. White County is within 2-3 players of being one of the top teams in 7AAA. the fact that they have no big post player or two is the only thing missing. This is really a solid team and if we can get 85 and Dumptruck to scour White County, up and down 111, over tward Cookeville and down toward Mcminnville and find those Amazons maybe over tward Spencer, they could turn the program around. The White County school has a winning attitude and a can do spirit and it's apparent they are going to do what it takes to keep the spirit up of White County.

The Lebanon/Siegel game was a better played game than the score indicated. The difference was, as has been in most Siegel games, defense. Siegel executed their offense pretty well but kept the Lebanon offense from doing those things that usually have been good to keep them close. Siegel did control the boards much better with Parrott and Spurlock along with Waggoner really making a statement in splitting the time. Waggoner scored 10 points and had numerous rebounds which was also a diffence. Siegel has not put a 4 quarter game together this year but this one came closer to doing it, maybes 3 quarter game.

Crowd at homecoming about 1800-1900.

Lebanon is still playing good and Howse, Brooks,Marshall, the Elies are as formidable as they usually are but Alan Bush and Staff really showed Lebanon something which they had not seen and took away their offense. If they were to play again, I'm sure the score would be different.
