I thought Bledsoe looked very promising at the Jamboree. It just hasn't panned out yet. Look for our mighty WARRIORS to rebound from the loss last Friday to SP and take this one by about 2 TD's.

My Prediction:

School miles away from civilization(LOL) - 13

School looking for another Colquette - 34

Although Bledsoe has a great kicker, finding another Colquette is difficult for everyone. Glad to hear you think BCHS is going to score 34. Thanks !

And Jasper is not that far away from civilization, you got Kimball that is close !!!!

Sorry for the mistaken identity. Is the kicker getting any looks, maybe even being asked to walk on like a lot of kickers and punters?

Not sure if he has been asked, but he should be at a try out.

Lots of potential. It is a pleasure to watch him kick.

Special teams could make a difference in this one.

Kick off or punt return.......take 6 points the easy way.

Well, that's more than 2 TD's, I guess counting wasn't real high on the curriculum at Jasper.lol

The Real Warriors - 14

jasper - 13

Where you been WH? Need you on this board for balance.

You been gone longer than Volhead......has he retired?

Buzzkill may be a target, hope not, but stepping on toes that are connected.....well, you know.....

So, good board here, give us your 2 cents....weigh in if you will.

Your signature is a little confusing though.....

I beleive Bledsoe pulls the upset, I think there is an outside chance, when we beat jasper, and jasper loses to upperman of a home playoff game. Bledsoe, Boyd, and jasper three way tie for 2nd , Bledsoe better overall record. Don't quote me, but does anyone know how a 3 way tie would be broken?

Old Pirate says jasper wins by 10

Here is what is in the TSSAA rules on their web site

General Regulations, II: "B. If at any point when the following tie-breaking procedures are applied, one team has beaten all the other teams that are tied for a play-off position, that team shall be rated above the others."

General Regulations, II: "C. In the event of a tie for the region winner, runner-up, third-place, or fourth-place team, if either team(s) has defeated the other(s) in regular-season play, the team(s) shall be rated above the other(s) in the standings. (After the region winner has been determined, the tie-breaker procedure shall begin all over again starting at the top to work out the runner-up position. The procedure shall be repeated to determine the third- and fourth-place teams.)"

General Regulations, II: D. "The following tie-breaking procedures shall be applied and all regular-season games, both region and non-region, shall count (After each of the following steps have been applied, item C above shall be applied.):"

    1. 1. The team with the greatest number of victories.

    2. 2. The team who has the greatest number of victories over teams winning 50 percent or more of their games.

    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
    • No sir. I watched it specifically and it was very dirty. He cleated the boy on purpose. Apparently, it’s an issue in football as well from what several schools have said. That said, looking forward to a good game 3. ER hit it well in game 2.
    • He is the transfer. 5star spoke on him in their new qb1 series. Didn’t list em as a transfer but I knew the name
    • Gunner Warren was the second starter, freshman. SP #1 arm impressed me last night.
