Tomorrow's Forecast from www.weatherchannel.com

Oct 27 Tomorrow

Cloudy with rain likely. A thundershower is possible as well, especially in the morning. High 57F. Winds SE at 5 to 10 mph. 1 to 2 inches of rain expected.

Oct 27 Tomorrow night

Windy...showers and thundershowers during the evening, then variable clouds overnight with more showers possible. Low 46F. Winds WNW at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of rain 60%. Rainfall near a quarter of an inch

Considering this forecast and the fact the game is on CSS....how will this affect attendance?? My recliner and remote is sounding PRETTY good

I remember a White House/Springfield playoff game (in WH) a few years back that was played in about the worst rainstorm that I've ever watched a game in. The rain was literally blowing sideways and it was so deep, you couldn't see any grass. I believe Springfield put together a late 4th quarter drive to win a low scoring, close game. I remember a GB/Marshall Cty game at home six years ago that had the worst storm but the WH game had the worst rain.

Well Greenbrier can't get in the playoffs but Macon Co. certainly can if White House loses this one. If it's raining on Friday Night it favors the Bobcats by far. White House's passing game was good in their two biggest wins of the season (Sycamore & Pearl-Cohn). If the wet weather plays a role it slows both teams down by far and a physical smashmouth 3-4 yards in a cloud of dust (or in this case a pit of mud) type of battle favors the visiting Bobcats.

Blah,blah,blah,blah,blah

Then again....my recliner is soft leather...a little WARM blankey (I'm sure there is a blue one in the attic somewhere!)...and POPCORN....and HOT, HOT chocolate that is not watered down by rain....no mud on my shoes....no umbrellas jabbing me in the face....no White House traffic....and no PRICE.......doesn't that sound good???

(Ah, if I can JUST psych those RATTLE snakes into staying home, I'll be a whole LOT happier.) ;)

From what I hear in Macon, GB was huge.. I seen WH and they were small, especially in the secondary. Hey greenbriar, pound it everytime. The weather is in your favor too. If ya'll can't go in, take WH with you. GrB 13 WH 10

Geo if your going to post than please at least spell the schools right.GO DEKALB :thumb:

I keep thinking 13-7. Who? Good question. Flip a coin. ;)

I just checked for Volleyball update---Lady Cats won again today against Jackson South Side. Next game is against Page. If they win that one, they are in the semi. GO Lady Cats :(

Greenbrier Lady Cats did it again! Gotta win two more tomorrow to be State

Champs! They are #1 in their POOL. We're going to play football in a pool too....what a coinkydink. :(

    • I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.
    • I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.
    • I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
    • Pirate fans, thread is up on the baseball message board.
