Tiger, we are all wondering...whoooooo are you rooting for?

I can see the credits rolling at the end of the CSS program IF we win. Greenbrier will be walking off the field and a Macon County Tiger jumping up and saying "We're going to the PLAYOFFS!" We'll do our best...but I'm not making predictions. According to the Robertson County Times, the Cats are the UnderDog...seems like I've heard that a few times before.

OR better yet-how about if we win our guys can rip their jerseys off to reveil they really are Tigers instead Bobcats and start yelling we fooled you we fooled you! We really did make the playoffs!

hmmm, the Greenbrier Underdogs-they could all come running out with little capes on and pointing to the sky-I like it! :D

I had lunch in the parking lot beside the White House field today. Did a little reading, a little praying, a little daydreaming (yes, about Fridays scoreboard) and a little more praying (no, not about the football game). At first glance, I thought they had tilled the ground, but no, it is grass, but it's as dead as the Bobcats chances of going to the playoffs. There were guys out there painting yardline numbers or else I would have gotten out to see if I could put a jinx on the White House sidelines  (but no, I don't truly believe in that either).

Here's looking forward to a great game Friday. Good atmosphere and friendly folks (don't hate us because we are in your way--it's just the way it turned out). I pray that there are no injuries and that the weather is not miserably cold so the fans can get into this game.

As far as the Bobcats being the underdog, I wouldn't expect a prediction of anything else. White House has the option to go on, while we don't. But that's not saying we won't try to get another win under our belts. The Bobcats are working hard to make a last "hoorah". I truly hope they do. But REGARDLESS of who wins, I would really like to see a good sportmanship game. If the Devils win congratulate them and wish them well, Cats. If the Bobcats win, I hope the Devils will understand that this season has been so close we could taste it, and our Seniors want to give this last game their best!'

Good luck to both sides. Let's KEEP it neighborly!!

EZ it was a great post! Prayer is a wonderful and powerful thing and I also pray for their (both sides) safety and hearts. I cannot imagine being in either position. I mean if you are a Greenbrier Senior you KNOW this is your last game and you have the feeling that the whole town is already disappointed in you so you WANT to beat WH to try and save some face - if you are a White House senior you are wondering is this your last game and will it be held over my head that Greenbrier (the ones with the bad year) kept us from the playoffs- so either way to be a 17/18 year old person carrying those feelings have to be tough!

Both towns should be proud and not make them feel worse no matter what the turn out...

Way to go Bobcats & Blue Devils your effort is PRICELESS!
