DT is the next head coach at Lincoln County, thats why he will not make the move to L'burg. Also why L'burg, if they truly want someone for the long haul, will not pursue coaches who have thier eyes set elsewhere. Ask Giles County, and very, very soon, BGA about that mistake!!

 

We disagree. What's the world coming to now mediamogul :thumb:B)

 

I've heard who the possible next head football coach at Lincoln Co. is going to be. HINT: He is still coaching this week in the playoffs B)

 

If you get this one then you are good ;)HINT #2: A school could very well be saying the same thing that Marshall Co. fans are saying right now which is "here we go again......." :o

Yes we do, disagree that is. DT has long been the fair haired child in Lincoln. Job was his the first time King Louie announced his retirement. Nothing has changed. Could he go to Lewisburg? Maybe, but, as the Bear said....one day....Mama will call.

So you are telling me that my man DO would have no shot if he decided to pursue the job after all of the success he had at his previous stop and after all of the success he's had this year rebuilding a program that was a total mess after someone abandoned it for the $$$$$$$ early in the year B)

 

He also has ties to Lincoln Co. I believe :thumb:

I don't know about the ones that came this year but coach haris told me last year if Johnson goes he goes.

 

I read where you posted this on the other thread that got closed Ben and I hope that DH winds up going where he ultimately wanted to go all along (that of course being his alma mater). He's a good guy, was an excellent player, and would be a valuable asset to any staff. If he winds up at his alma mater next year, which I believe he will, then expect for them to be better than they already are thus far this year.

 

I hope to see him floating around at the same game I'll be attending on Friday Night B) I'm sure that he'll be there pulling hard for the alma mater :thumb:

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
