Very close game throughout. Maryville lead till the bottom of the 4th. Couple of 2 out errors really hurt Rebels. Bell the win.

William Blount beats Farragut. I think it was 8-3.

The line score was something like:

 

William Blount 0-4-0-1-0-0-3--8-11-3

Farragut 2-1-0-0-0-0-0--3-7-6

 

Farragut had 3 errors in the 2nd inning, possibly could have had 4 but the score person gave them a hit on the first batter when he hit it to 3rd and it bounced, hit, and went over the 3rd baseman. Other than that "hit" William Blount had 0 hits that inning. I think Farragut really had 7 or 8 errors, but 6 is still alot.

No excuses though. When William Blount had to hit the ball they usually did. Especially in the top of the 7th. Farragut left bases loaded in the 1st and left several others on base throughout the game.

Wow! What a day in 4 AAA! Bearden is upset by Lenoir City. William Blount beats Farragut. I did not see these two games turning out the way they did. So- Bearden is now eliminated, and Farragut drops down to the loser's bracket. TG24- SD will play WB now, but I am not sure of what time they will play. If anyone finds out, please let us know. Also, does anyone know who won the Heritage and Sevier County game?

The score was 7-4. Whoever the home team was won. I think it might have been Heritage according to the paper.

According to the paper, Farragut plays LC at South Doyle this evening at 5:30.
