Is this a team to get some respect for beating? Hillwood will battle to stay out of the cellar. I heard Hillwood lost to themselves in an intra-squad game.

Give Coach Matykiewicz his due because he turned Fairview from a doormat to a contender in a hurry. Maybe he'll do the same at Centennial. The Cougars have a way to go to catch Brentwood, Ravenwood, Franklin, & Independence (their county rivals) however they can catch them if they take it step-by-step. That means that beating a Dickson Co., Clarksville Northeast, and/or Columbia Central would go a long way in the rebuilding process.

Give him his due,for what? It does not matter what happen at Fairview. This is not 2A ball, this is the big boys. He will get respect when Centennial wins some 6-5A games, not a couple of scrimmages . And Dickson County kicked butt in region 6-5A. They are the most physical team in the region,so beating them would a great accomplishment.

You need to give the "little guys" more credit, it is just as hard to win a ballgame in 2A as in 5A. Sometimes harder due to fewer players who are available, due to the smaller enrollment in the school.

I still say it is easier to win at Fairview than Centennial. I wish them the best.
