Who and how do you know this? I spoke with parents of the Greenville Program and they knew of no school talking to her. LIke I said in my post, I did not know if she was or wasn't a newcomer. If there are schools talking to her then good for her. She will be a real prize for some coach.

I know a little bit about Greeneville soccer... and I know her father.

Someone posted this same type topic last year. I thought it was great to see these up and comers burst on the scene. I don't care which club they come from or school affliation, I just like seeing good players play good soccer.

Two girls from Science Hill, one midfielder (sorry dont know the name) - she is 5ft 2ins (about) and has long hair. Tall girl whos a striker, called Kendle. Excellent players

Sarah Parker, midfielder for Riverdale. Has 10 or so goals so far including 4 against Lebanon last night. Strong leg, most kicks come from the 20 to 30 yard range. Has taken over most of the free kick duties from Becca.

Also saw a forward for Blackman who looks impressive, think her name is Katy Morgan, not sure. She leads Blackman in scoring this year.

her name is katie smith.

and she is very talented. scores almost every game. you know if she gets the ball in the 18, she'll at least get a cross off if not a shot/goal. she's very tall, and uses that to her advantage.

I know that CAK has a pretty strong freshmen class coming in. Casey Campbell (Yes, I know I spelled her first name wrong on purpose!) Hannah Cox, Chelsea Cates, Abby Holt are just to name a few that will be fine additions to the roster. I think Kayce (A.K.A. "bones") will do great things with Brittany up top.

Brittany & Kayce could do great things together on the basketball court too. I hope "Bones" plays basketball too. Best young defensive player I've seen in a while. Long & rangy athlete. Brittany is just a great athlete. Should have a great season and career in both.

Has anyone seen Kate Maguigan at Page High in Franklin? Holy smokes!!! Talk about a talented freshman. I watched her twice this year. She kept passing the ball to teammates unselfishly and still racked up 5 goals (all 5 were rockets to the upper and lower 90). I think she's ODP. She'll be something special; I believe she has 35 or 40 goals going into the playoffs (only 4 freshman in Tennessee history have surpassed 40).

    • The Girls Basketball team I am a part of played for a gold ball this season. One of the biggest differences in the sports is that there is no field prep/maintenance in basketball.   Our baseball is successful and play 30 games in the regular season as well. All of the teams dedicate A LOT of time in preparing for their next opponent.
    • “facts” or better yet ‘opinions’ had been up for weeks/months. that’s not why the thread was deleted. get over yourself.
    • Im pretty excited about the new rules that NFHS voted to adopt. Does anyone know if this will take place in Tennessee starting this year? I think I heard/read somewhere that the TSSAA bi-laws say the have to mirror what the NFHS does, and when the NFHS offered the current weight classes as options, TSSAA didn’t adopt them until NFHS made them official. Did NFHS make these changes official starting next season or will it be similar to the weight classes where TSSAA doesn’t change what they are doing until it is  an officially official part of the NFHS rule book? It’ll be interesting to see if it is rolled out for the new TSSAA Middle School season and I saw a post where the youth wrestling in TN was going to vote on adopting it as well.  I’ll pray for all the youth coaches that will have to shoulder the confusion from all those crazy #### parents who already think they know the rules more than everyone else  . Imagine the first time their kid is taken down and a 3 goes up on the scoreboard or their kid gets pinned with only one point of contact in the cylinder. Their heads might explode. i kid, I kid. Sort of. I’m surprised ride time was brought down with all the other changes. I know some argue that it promotes stalling on top, but its been an official scoring method in college forever, so I figure it must be doing something right. Do any of you think that’ll ever be implemented?
    • Crazy how the thread just gets deleted when facts come out.
    • I understand I guess it depends on the school you are with and the time you want to put in.  It’s evident of the schools that don’t put in as much times.  I would say basketball players put in as much time as any sport in our school system and this is coming from a football town.  Bball is a longer season than other sports.
