On the coaches' list, even though he was way before my time, Rex Dockery.

 

He coached Morristown East to the first state championship in 69 under the "new" playoff system.

 

As I understand it, they weren't supposed to win it, but someone forgot to tell Coach Dockery and the rest of the team!

Troy Fleming, Reggie White, and the Ole Ball Coach Steve Superior!!! Johnny Majors was before my time but he probably should have got the Heisman over Paul Hornung, he just went to the wrong school. ( ND vs UT )
